I’ve been passionate about health and wellness for as long as I can remember. As an independent thinker, I knew there was more to health than antibiotics and prescription medicine. During my college years, I developed an understanding of how quality food and diet, toxins, and lifestyle choices influence our health and wellness. As a child, I suffered random sicknesses more often than my sisters and friends. I remember feeling that the medical care I received was not getting to the root of the problem. Starting with my first menstrual cycle, I experienced intense and painful periods. In my late twenties, I began suffering from symptoms of intense hormonal imbalance, including acne, blood sugar dysregulation, as well as vitamin and nutrient deficiency. I was finally diagnosed with PCOS and from there began my investigative journey to get to the root of the problem. This journey alone has inspired me to want to help others.

I am trained as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP). What is an NTP, you ask? We are specialists that help you reach your health goals through whole food, lifestyle changes, and [sometimes] supplementation. As an NTP, I take a holistic approach to wellness that focuses on the importance of a properly prepared, nutrient-dense, whole-food diet combined with lifestyle choices that support your individual goals. The goal is to support your body and honor the importance of your well-being while listening to your body’s biofeedback system.

As an NTP, we are trained to approach each of our clients with the concept that there is no “one size fits all” universal diet. Each of us is unique with many factors that contribute to what will work for us. Some of these factors are age, genetics, activity levels, the climate we live in, and of course current state of health. Human bodies (and the systems within) are extremely complex. What works well for you as a unique human and will likely not be optimal for the next person? As an NTP, I support my clients in addressing the foundations + understanding the root cause of potential nutritional imbalances that contribute to symptoms and health concerns.

My specialty includes supporting and restoring the way women approach health, healing, and hormone balance. I support clients in achieving optimal gut health, blood sugar regulation, and hormone balance through a holistic and foundational approach. If you’re ready to find the root cause of what is driving your symptoms and get to yourself, working with me is probably a good fit.
